Fellow Practitioner Issue 216 dated 25 July 2014

Productivity
The cost to Business is $119.00 per week for each licensed worker for licensing and CPD and across the industry
227,273.25 hours will be spent on CDP training. How is this productive? Read a few of the other figures which may shock you.

Last week we told you about the breach of Privacy by the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board. There have been a number of letters sent out to the affected people but there is nothing about WHO is being held accountable. The perception is that this is another “whoops got it wrong” issue by the Board where NO ONE gets held accountable.

I am confused, the Board told people that they had contacted the Privacy Commissioner before the 10th??

Funny because I was told they had only just done it on the 16th see below....after the letters were sent out???

Dear Paul Gee,

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner received a notification letter today from the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.

You can't choose who you are.....but you are the sum of your choices.......

Perhaps this is why the report is not dated or signed. They are full of it.
