look at the install video had me laughing...he inserts the rubber washer and also wraps the thread with ptfe tape lolhahahalol...the ptfe tape is totaly usless in this situation where the seal is ment to be made with the rubber washer...lolhahahalolol...putting on ptfe tape makes the job even harder cus the thread will feel tight even before the washer seats in making it hard to judge when the washer is sealed...lolol

I feel another cpd course coming on for this dude.


aside from that it looks ok i could see it been retro fitted in low to mid price houses as for high end i cant see a market for it as the finish looks bulky having to install the diverting tee and the hose not hanging tight to the wall...but thats just my view anyway.

The shower head looks okay.

The old thread tape on the thread trick. I've seen this a few times and its a sure sign the person doing the work is not a plumber.

I thought it was a smart solution for those old Felton low to mains pressure conversions where the home owner insists on a hose.
