Clean, safe, versatile and suitable for water and gas with hemp in metal pipe-fitting and tapware. Ask your local merchant for it by name and if they haven't got it in stock tell them to get it in for you. About the same price as graphite but better in every way.

Used it over 10 years ago. Must admit, is excellent stuff. Even know the man who has the rights for it over here (or did have ).

Just went to one our dealers to buy some fermit. However, I was a tad shocked. Surely 390nzd for a tube of 150gram cant be right?!

Whaaaahhhh????? You're joking! They must be talking about a carton of the stuff, surely! Divide that by 15 tubes per carton and you're getting closer...

I'd go back and check on that.

I've already checked with another supplier, and the price is FAR better, and costs what I expected. I also confirmed the price from the first dealer. He's got some error in the system! Somebody must have screwed up as they sell the stuff at 30 times the correct price!

Anyway. I've ordered some. Cheers

No it's a tube, 150gm in a paste form. Great as a lube for taps or tools as well. Once you try it you'll never use graphite again! It's called Neo-fermit Universal.

must admit i love not having black hands at the end of the day, and its easy to use, 1 thing i think needs addressing is it needs to come in a tub, i keep standing on it when its on the floor and out it comes! otherwise its good

Announcement!

I have bought back Fermit NZ Ltd.! I was the original importer but had to give it up when I had a serious car accident back in May 2010. I felt the company wasn't doing as well as I hoped it would, so after negotiating I have bought it back and plan on promoting the Fermit through various media to raise its profile as I believe it deserves.

neoFermit should by now be industry standard as it is so far ahead of the alternative, graphite, as to be incomparable.
