Bosch Gas Hot Water
« on: July 23, 2014, 07:34:22 PM »
Anyone here a service agent with Bosch? How do you get involved?

I am very interested in becoming an authorised preferred installer/service agent. I install their appliances all the time. Also think that continuous flow gas hot water is the consumers hot water choice of the future (well seems to be where I am based) so seems wise to get fully involved in the repair and maintenance of their appliances.

Cheers, rodza1

We are, but it's so long ago I can't remember how we got started.  Just ring them and speak to the Service Manager, tell him your credentials and say you are interested in being a service agent.  They are excellent for ordering parts etc.  Do you have limited electrical?  A lot of the companies expect this of their service agents now - Rinnai do definitely, not sure about Bosch as we have a few guys with it so it hasn't been an issue.

Yes I will do that, thanks for the advice Jaxcat. I have rung one of the techs before but other than that have always sourced my parts from my merchant. No limited electrical, guess I had better go get it! cheers

What area you looking at? We just signed up with them in Auckland. They best way to start is to start selling their products :)

Hi Plumber,

Im in wanganui. Yeah Im putting a lot of their appliances in, especially gas hot water heaters. Oh right. I have plans to do something along those lines in the near future. So if I buy my products from my merchant and advertise sales and installation of bosch gas hot water for example thats all above board so to speak? My merchant has alrady told me if I want to do something with bosch they are fine with it.
