I see the PGDB are doing their bit for the legal fraternity in NZ - advertising TWO jobs recently for lawyers - one for a new graduate type position and one for a senior solicitor. Perhaps they are considering bringing all the legal work they undertake "in house" - goodness knows they spend a bit on outsourcing for legal advice and action. How many laywers does an organisation like this need?? Guess we'll have to keep a watch on SEEK and see how many lawyers it takes to keep the PGDB moving forward...

hi guys/jax, i can see a licence fee increase coming if we have to pay the wages of two more lawyers :o

hi guys, perhaps the board are "economising" cheers

I was at a meeting once "one of their road shows" and one of the boys" a plumber doing it hard" asked ....why are our fees so high, its only data entry and managing a register..........the smug reply from the lawyer, with a smug grin.............."have you seen what lawyers charge", then told a story about being referred to,the Board and its legal team, as the"the plumbing mafia" with a 100% conviction rate. The one who said this is one that's leaving.
It is statistically impossible to have a 100% conviction rate.........what your saying is every single person with the finger pointed at them was guilty......I remember some other people with a similar mantra...... if you don't float and drown your innocent, if you survive your guilty and need burning....inquisitors ;)
