Title: bathroom waste water pipe alterations
Post by: Glycerine on September 28, 2011, 07:31:51 PM
Hi,

id like to have our bathroom waste water pipes layout changed,
at the moment they are all separate runs of pipe to the main waste pipe in the ground

can these legally all be joined together to one large pipe? (and run straight through the wall rather than diagonally under the floor then out the wall)
what size piping should be used?
does it need to have a breather vent?

can i do this myself? (legally)

is any sort of consent required?

i have attached an image of how it is now

thanks

"can i do this myself? (legally)"...NO!

Call a plumber for a quote to do the job, heck get 3 quotes and then choose the plumber you feel most comfortable with...getting quotes doesnt cost anything so go ahead and ring your local plumber!.
