Title: Gas Central Heating
Post by: boltlass on July 31, 2011, 08:31:23 AM
Hi,
I have just moved into a new flat that has GCH, which I have never had before so have a couple of questions and excuse me for being stupid but really have no idea!!

The GCH system is a a Vitodens 100-W.  I have a water tank as well as this. As its summer I don't want to have my heating on but with this do I have to have it on to get the hot water?

Thanks

You must have an additional controller that you can switch from summer to winter. There should be a 3 port valve that will by pass the heating and only heat your hot water.
