Title: totally dodgy inquisition about a gas explosion

Thank you for your support guys it really means a lot to my wife and I. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Wal; he is a straight talking, level headed bloke with his finger on the pulse, backed by a very well informed team with the Federation. And if given the opportunity totally open to dialog, but the thing is if we are saying what they don’t want to hear, they take their ball and play with the other kids.

I know what every one says about politicians, but Nick Smith has definitely put his hand up and shown real action and is approachable and a man of doing, not just gassing about making a difference.

The job was changed, which became apparent when we saw withheld photos, too many items to list here, and the hose was 6 years old with no maintenance, I have lost my income, my reputation and at times my sanity. They drummed up 21 charges, all of which are very well argued by us, the only one that’s a bit sticky is the one where the inquisitor had to admit out of his own book of regs that he had written, that I had in fact complied with the compulsory part of the act, talk about f***ing credit cards……priceless.

You will definitely hear a hell of a lot more when I with out doubt take this as far as I can, and further, they do not intimidate me,  not one iota.

All lead by an inquisitor that had granted my old boss his full craftsman licence after one oral exam and no apprenticeship, the office staff that had filled out the certs, weren’t even interviewed. Apparently my old boss was part of a very select few who got his licence in this way, if not the only one. How’d he manage that, must have some serious connections.

More will come out and I can’t say too much until after the result, but one thing I will say is that The Federation, is by far the best opportunity that has come along in the last 10 years, it cost nothing to join and is undeniably making changes, you may or may not agree with CPD, what I don’t agree with is illegal actions that interfere with my livelihood.

The best line I recently heard was when someone who represents a group in my area, when I told him I was deeply disappointed with the lack of backing I had received from this group (which I am a member of), his laughable reply was that he had shown his support in a phone call that he made on the Monday of the week of the hearing, the hearing starting on the Tuesday, the following day (and I have been getting screwed for 2 years). This is the best part….I said I didn’t receive any phone calls, not one…..his reply was I couldn’t get through…..I duly told him to vacate the area and breed, and know he is telling every one that he came up to apologise and I started just started nutting off for no reason…….some right corkers in our industry eh!!

Any way I’m going for a quiet night in with my missus for the first time in over two years when I wasn’t preparing to fight a load of bollox charges, people if you don’t stand up together today then you will fight alone tomorrow, give my very good friend a bell and get your names down, if you don’t and it happens to you then don’t piss and moan, this is your opportunity.

Hand on heart I totally owe everything that went well in my hearing to Wal and the Federation, if you don’t sign up, you got rocks in your head, grow some balls and get your name down (obviously if you agree, if you don’t then that is your choice and I wish you well)
