Title: The latest dribble from the PGDB

Hi All

I assume you have all received your email from the PGDB regarding the Regulation Review Committee results and the boards spin on it.

How can they be so bloody stupid as to say that the disciplinary Levy has been Quote
that the RRC has not said that the Board has set fees that are too high in total but rather that part of the fee has been set under the wrong section of the Act. This will be corrected and is unlikely to result in lower total fees.

Unquote

Wrong section of the ACT :o :o how many LAWYERS do these idiots employ and how long have they had to study the act and they still can't get it right >:( ;. yet if we make one mistake it makes a ton of bricks falling on your head feel like a speck of dust not to mention the amount of time they like to hold you in limbo. A form of torture that even colonel Qaddafi would be proud to engineer ;D.

Then they wonder why no practitioner has any respect for the board and why plumbers are leaving the industry in droves ???.

I was at a meeting and one of us lowly plumbers asked the question, "how do you get to the figures that you have to jusify your charges?", to be answered quite smuggly by one of the Board's legal team, "have you seen what lawyers charge"!!!!

If the public knew, there would be outrage, and it is up to us involved in the trade to let them know.

:o :o :o :o open your eyes people, or are you going to Aussie.
