hi guys, absolutely correct also gas hob inside has no isolating valve. I was on the property doing a plumbing job and as i am no longer involved with gas it is only an observation, cheers

Hi guys also on the first picture of the gas appliance , the yellow handle should always fall to isolation for safety, its clearly falling to open.

yes Robbo, abers regulators have hoses that for a peroid of time where faulty and they would replace them, but now we are still coming across 3-5 year old aber hoses that are leaking at the crimp joint and for some reason the hose feels very stiff as if the material has hardened.
we stopped using them as they where not covered by warranty and they also do not meet nzs 5601 ( not being adjustable for 3kpa outlet pressure)

Robbo, how far was the water heater and hob from the bottle supply? with 15mm copper! i would be questioning if the pipe size was anywhere near big enough! poor water heater would never have a chance at warranty,
did you let the owner know?

hi guys/Bowtieboy, from memory there would have been about 6mtrs of pipework, seemed to work o.k. i wasn't working on the gas so didn't take to much notice of how well it worked. Never saw the owner i was working with a builder installing a shower whilst owner was at work, cheers
