Post by: chilly on October 29, 2010, 05:21:07 PM
Hi to all , heard this recently did you hear about the master plumbers chairman from (local) who had his apprentices install a gas appliance when he was using another companies ticket and they couldnt get it to work so this great craftsman ranted at the manufacturer and they sent him another he then decided to install it himself being the great tradesman he is lol and it still wouldnt work so another rant at the manufacturer and they sent down there engineers to find the appliance had not been installed correctly to enable it to work. What a plonker why is he in business with such a greedy i dont care attitude like that laugh i almost cried when fully qualified guys are paying scandalous fees just to exist shame on you Sxxxn

If this is true and you have evidence to back it up then you should file a complaint with the PGDB.  It makes a mockery of the supervision requirements.  However, I am always cautious about such examples becasue sometimes when the facts are known it's not always quite as black and white as it is on the old jungle drums.

Hi Guys found out that this great craftsman had a local firm who are water heater agents for this brand come and check the appliance and found that he had not installed a regulator to the system , and he also smoothed it over so the board havent got wind of it. The regulator was not in the box of materials so it never got fitted. So what right has this idiot to be touching anything remotely connected with gas , i can understand apprentices who are put in these positions to make mistakes ,but this guy is a disgrace.
