Well after 3 years of f##kin torture i'm finally back to where i should be and am now a certifying gasfitter.
Got me exam results yesterday and passed my common paper,so that's a relief as i don't have to study for the short term untill i choose to do something else.
As an ex pom who's been doing this for 24yrs it's been a pain in the arse having to prove my ability again at alot of expense ( and i didn't have to do my practical in Wellington) and now the robbing ba##ards want $500.00 for me to get my ticket!
Well unless my boss wants to pay it it ain't gonna happen as they've took enough money out of me so i'll just carry on as normal knowing that i've proved my ability.
As has been said on other posts the only way to beat the BA##ARDS is don't pay the fees, the system can only work if people follow it.

hi guys, ade i take my hat of to you buddy, you`ve waded through the bulls... re-completed your apprenticeship only to finish up where you started at great cost to you. A lot of guys would not do it and just give up and thats why we have a lack of tradesmen in this country, the system needs to change i think that we all agree on that but will it? anyway ade,Well done you deserve that beer,cheers
