Title: PGDB phone interview
Post by: tonz76 on June 09, 2010, 05:28:16 AM
Hi all just wondering if someone could give me some advice on the phone interview that Im about to have from the PGDB to verify my gas qualifications so I can attain a temp license to work in NZ. Wondering what sort of questions they might ask? Do I need to read up on any new zealand regs?? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you can get hold of a copy of the NZ gas standards then most things they'll ask will be in there.
Depending what country your coming from some of technical calculation stuff may be different but as long as you know your stuff and explain it in the terms you use then you should be fine.
Be warned they do have a habit of making things as difficult as possible.
Best of luck

my advice would be to have a craftsman with you and record them because you cannot trust the lying bastards just read the oag report (mrjones)

if you are a overseas plumber/gas engineer join up with wall and register your interest and tell us your story
