Obviously you are in the same leaky boat as me!
Have just figured that, prior to becoming tradespeople, we first must go to university to get a masters degree in written English, just to sit the exams.
Fudge me, how's the next generation gonna get along when they all write in txt msg speak.
Question: WHATS THE GOLDEN RULE OF DRAINAGE?
Answer: sh1t gos dwnhl. SORRY WRONG!!

Yeah, Just got my results for Gas Reg , a good pass but still hacks me off that no matter how hard you try and put an answer down thats word perfect , you still cant get full marks. It's like its some great damned conspiracy by the board to not recognise that there are some of us who did put in the effort.
I'm going to take issue with the sods over some of the questions, if theyre not keen to put the answers out then how the hell do they expect to improve the results of guys in the industry?? First name Wayne last name Kerrs!!

Passed craftsman gas but still prob 10 extra marks that i should have got that were marked wrong. I would have been pretty cheesed off if i had just missed passing. Ive heard a few other results in the plumbing reg exam, no of them passed, sounds like a hard exam. Anyone else heard of pass marks in any exams?

I passed the craftsman gas but have gone over my exam and seen that i should have got at least another 15 points!
one whole question they marked wrong and it was a question that I had the answer for from an old exam from someone that sat it a few years ago, I should ring the board and ask whats going on really but just dont know if its worth it

I had the same thing Rogan, i guess it was the question about pipework in a duct? I only got 1 mark for it despite listing nearly every clause relating to it from the code. Most of the peoplpe i have talked to about the exam got very low marks for the first few pages and picked up most of their marks in the second half of the exam.

good to know i am not alone, passed my rego exam with a modest(compared to the amount of study i did) 64%. i have gone through and found some very harsh marking, what if it was 59%, its a guys livleyhood at stake,if you ask me its just another money making scheme that this stupid board has thought up! not to mention that the exam is $100 bucks an hour!

come on pgdb sort your shit out!
