Title: Portable misting system
Post by: Dave Galpin on November 19, 2018, 06:45:11 PM
Hi guys,

I have a lifestyle block that's quite steep and a nightmare for spraying so was thinking of potential solutions.  Just wanted to know whether the below would be doable given I have access to electricity within 30m of my intended spray zone and there are flat pathways above each zone also.

Build a trolley with a 100l tank attached to it.
Mount a water pump to the trolley (electric).
Connect misting system to water pump.

If in theory the above was possible i have a couple of questions.

How long theoretically would I be able to create the misting system? The longest reach between levels is 10m, and I was planning on having multiple detachable sections probably 2-3m in length.

What requirements would the pump have to have to meet the required psi for the mist?

Many thanks
Dave
