Title: Advice for Obtaining Producer Statement

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone can advise what to do in the following situation - had a renovation company redo my bathroom while i was away on holiday. Said he was using a registered plumber, now on returning i have asked for producer statement and they are saying they cant track down the plumber to provide it? How do i proceed in this situation?

The reno company will have paid the plumber. They will know who he is. The only reason for not telling you is that he is not registered and licensed. Ask for the plumbers name and registration number. If they wont supply it, contact the Plumbers,Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board and complain to them.
