Title: What do you read?

AS a supplier to the plumbing industry through all the merchants - we import bulk consumables from Europe and wholesale to them - I would be interested to know what publications you all read in order to keep up with the latest news and products available.

How popular is the Plumbing Journal, for instance? Do you rely on your local merchant for telling you what's new or what's popular?

Is this website your main source of information? Or do you mainly rely on word of mouth to keep you up to date?

Would you like to subscribe to an emailing list where you receive monthly notices, or would this only clog your inbox and irritate you?

I would be interested in your responses.

Cheers,
Ed

I think the Plumbers Journal is a great publication, then we rely on newsletters from the merchants (Plumbing World and Mico mainly), this website and other plumbing websites.

Thanks Jaxcat,

I did one 1/4 page ad in the Journal but wasn't too happy with their design as it really didn't stand out at all. I think an advertorial would be the go but have to decide where to put it.

I'm pleased this website is popular, and the variety of threads and topics is huge!

If it's any use Ed we keep our Plumbers Journals around for years - we have a library of them at work and guys often pull out past copies to read or when they are looking for articles on something.  They certainly have a value beyond the one read.

Thanks Jaxcat, I've been in touch with the journal and will see how I get on.
