Title: Putting a Two ring gas burner in a well ventilated food trailer
Post by: toby on December 03, 2016, 02:53:31 PM
Hi there,

We have recently bought a small food trailer and have had gas already installed for a coffee machine and fridge.
My question is, we would like to have a small gas burner to heat a waffle iron, does this mean we need an extractor installed above it?
I have seen food trailers with gas hobs with no extraction but have been told I will need one?
Are there simpler ways of covering the air movement legally? an added roof vent? or is the fact that  half of the trailer opens up anyway enough?
There is also a small extraction fan at one end of the trailer.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
