Title: Tapware - Robertson or Grohe
Post by: Kryt0n on February 17, 2016, 06:57:00 PM
We're currently debating new tapware and wondering what peoples' views are on Robertson and Grohe, which would you use and why?

TIA

My understanding is that Robertson is a "distributor" of various brands whereas Grohe is a brand also sold by Robertson. Grohe is pretty good, I must have installed over 100 of them and never recall going back to a manufactures fault.

Ahh, I thought I read somewhere that "Ideal Standard" was Robertson's own branding but doing a google search now and it tells me they're actually German... (many of the other companies, e.g. Chesters, advertise these as "Robertson" which helped fit with my understanding

So a slight refinement to my question... Ideal Standard or Grohe

Thanks for your time!

Hi guys, Grohe are overpriced, I recently saw Grohe in Cosco Brisbain priced as cheap as any other mid to low priced tap/shower product that you can get here, cheers

My parents bough a new house will Ideal Standard throughout. Within a five years, I had replaced the toilets, vanity taps and kitchen tap. I would stick with Grohe.
