Post by: roberto on August 19, 2014, 09:51:23 PM
ok......where the f*** do I start?...there is soo much to cover I'm a little worried ill miss something.....should I just study everything? (including the past papers?)...I realise there is a prescription that comes out, but doesn't that come out a month before the exam?...should I just read a ton of books?....im a visual learner so id rather see how something works rather than read about it.

I am not looking to sit the exam till june 2015.....plenty of time to study.....I hope..... :-[

Pretty sure the Open Polytech of NZ have a course of study you can do - can't remember the costs off the top of my head, but it follows through systematically towards what you need to cover - oh and study a shitload of codes, regs, OSH stuff.   You should ask around your area, or put up a notice at the merchants and try to get a study group together of anyone else looking to sit next year.  It really works if you meet every couple of weeks and ask each other questions -old exam papers are a good route to follow as well.
