Anyone actually trust the Skills Organisation to be the gatekeepers for the integrity of our hard earned trades?

Well they certainly haven't gone ahead in leaps and bounds in fact not much if anything has changed since the old ITO was in place.

I wouldn't trust them to clean a toilet little own teach someone to install one. I understand the NZQA Qualification being pushed through doesn't do much for training either. Seems that the industry stops at licensing level.  One level is controlled by The Skills Organisation and the other is controlled by the PGDB. So what hope do we really have.
