Got asked by a client today if I could do the same as this and then they showed me the Trade Me listing that gave them the idea  :o :o

I realise that this is natural selection in operation but come on the board claim to be a consumer protection organization why aren't they protecting the consumer from themselves  ???

Well have a good laugh guys. If you want to see the listing for yourself http://www.trademe.co.nz/home-living/heating-cooling/heaters/gas/auction-698997776.htm

The board wouldn't do anything about this as it's not high profile and its not about competence.

I think you should report it to the Board - send them the link and see what happens.  We complained once before about a listing on Trade Me and they made Trade Me put up a note from the Board on the auction - so sometimes they come good - at least they have to be given the opportunity (I can't believe I sound like I am almost defending them).  All fairness - give them the opportunity and then if they don't do anything - hit them with everything you have.
