Title: Auditor General Inquiry.
Post by: robbo on November 13, 2013, 01:19:13 PM
hi guys, Over the next six months, the Auditor-General is carrying out follow-up work on her 2010 inquiry into how the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board’s (the Board’s) functions under the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act of 1976 (and the 2006 Act as it was introduced during the inquiry).

Relevant submissions will be considered during fieldwork in November.
...
we will wait with bated breath, cheers

Government departments work with the speed of a turtle.  Six months will take us beyond the next licensing year.  I hope they produce a report that has some relevance because goodness knows the shit that has come out of Government Departments up till now - dancing on a tap head over the Board - has been pitiful for us as taxpayers to swallow.

The worst thing is even if they do find fault with the Board and say they are the worst ever Board and as useless as a turd at a wedding no one will do anything about it and if they do it will take a couple of years. I say these clowns should be held accountable now. We don't need a report to tell us they are useless just look at the enquiries that have already found them guilty. The Board and Williamson should all go.

Save the money  on the follow up report and simply have an industry vote  keep them or fire them. For over a decade the industry has put up with incompetence and yet they still point the finger at us. I say screw them

The Auditor Generals Office will more than likely not find any significant problems, as this would only highlight their own incompetence.

Call me an optimist with my head up my arse, but I'm willing to give this lot a go - just once more.  I wish it didn't take six months though.

I am with you on that Jax, for heavens sake, please don't let the rot be allowed to go too far.

Last chance to fix it.
