Post by: robbo on August 06, 2013, 08:25:08 AM
hi guys, came across this from Branz`builders mate`in  Placemakers. I think they should start with all the `compliance` costs for all tradesmen. Costs for `Buying` a licence to work in the construction industry are out of control and I believe they need to be reduced/scrapped. Funny how it is the ` Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment` who are looking into it as the Minister rubber stamps all the rising costs in our trades. Look at all the costs for licensing/up-skilling/h&s courses then add g.s.t. to the cost of a house and you have very expensive, cheers

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment released an issues paper for industry comment and is now studying the responses it received
