Title: Sola 60 problem
Post by: Leanne on May 30, 2013, 05:38:11 PM
Can anyone help or advise on a sola 60 system.
The frost protection plugs on the panels keep popping off.
They didn't used to do this and we have heavy frosts here, but for last 3 years or so we have them popping off with some frosts.
The system is not as efficient as it once was, it often used to boil the hot water tank in summer but hasn't done this for a few years now.
We live between Napier and Palmerston North but our local plumbers are not sure what the problem is.  Is there anyone who could help??
Thanks.

Hi Leanne, I have nothing good to say about the Sola 60 products but if your looking at claiming a warranty or spare parts give Nova Energy Solar a ring as they purchased the company several years ago. Dont let them sell you a new panel  :)
