Title: CPD - changing goal posts?
Post by: The Hoff on November 27, 2012, 07:08:32 AM: Received a letter telling me I don't have enough points for next years renewal. I previously had enough but the amount required seems to have changed. Whats going on, when did this change?

I am perplexed and waiting on a call back to advise what has happened. I would be interested to hear if there are others out there who have experienced the same problem. I'm buggered if I know what has happened.

ditto jax - also found out that unit standard credits are only going to be given as face value for cpd points.....

its a joke - how can 10 unit standard credits which equals 100hrs study time only be given 10cpd points which equals 10hrs study time?

wheres the equality and parity?!?

Post by: gordyplum on November 27, 2012, 08:19:39 PM: They are just making it up as they go along. What is in place now will change at any given time on any wonderfull idea someone has. I doubt if ANY of our companys drainlayers have enough points as they have no way of getting them, apart from piggybacking on any thing provided for us plumber/ gasfitters. They also get drug tested, maybe the board should be :)
