what did you all think of the topic on close up tonight?
i for one would be happy to see more ladys in our trade....but
do you think thay would put up with the nonsense we do??? hmmmm :-\

I thought it was an excellent story - you are seeing more and more women in the trades, in our community I know of two qualified female plumber and gasfitters and two female apprentices.  There are a few sparkies, and good to see the female project manager for Fletchers.   Certainly they are a marketable item for women customers and elderly women at home.  They haven't queered their pitch on programmes like Target either! 

As to putting up with nonsense from the guys - perhaps they make everyone lift their game and the behaviour on site goes up a notch!
