Title: Water hammer
Post by: SpankMe on May 26, 2012, 04:31:13 PM
Turning off the hot water in the kitchen and wash room sink makes the pipes in the house bang. Bathroom sink doesn't do this. Hoping there is a quick and easy fix for this :)

there is a quick easy fix for this...when you get a plumber in to look at that faulty toilet of yours show him the issue with the water hammer and he will most probablies install two water hammer arrestors in the line to stop your pipes banging...i sugest you do this asap as water hammer is not good for any of your tapwhare or shower mixers...so when you get a plumber in you can kill two birds with one stone.
