This Week

•   The politically savvy leading the vision impaired

•   You gotta laugh

•   Others Trades are moving ahead

•   Look at what National had to say in 2006 about our licensing

•   It’s Out and Out Academic Snobbery

•   Someone has to say it to clear the air

•   We will still have choices

Regards

 >:D Will the Federation be tackling the PGDB re the Academic Snobbery? It is mind boggling that a man (or 3) who has never installed an appliance is now judged competent to train apprentices. Is Maurice the Disbeliever aware of this practice?

Hi Wombles

The frightening thing is its all legal as the only people the Board has to justify their decisions to is themselves.  They are responsible for protecting the health and safety of the public and if they believe a person is a fit and competent person then they can give them whatever qualifications they want.

Its discusting and wrong.
