Title: "Australia" - global leader in the sustainable plumbing industry?
Post by: integrated on February 25, 2012, 09:28:13 PM
heard on another forum i frequent in Australia the Plumbing Industry Commission (PIC) has implemented the phase out of electric water heaters from January 1st 2015

visionary or nanny state?

my vote for visionary...

In my opinion all heating space/thermal storage should be sustainable/renewable and a mandatory requirement of the building code - it is easiest and most cost effective when building new...

whats others thoughts on this?!?

I think its a great idea!! How bout phasing out low pressure cylinders as well!! Hate those pieces of shit. I do like the Australian's constantly improving and embracing technology, excellent idea. They use the most power of any appliance in the home, makes sense to rid inefficient crap.
