They were so impressed with his speech on gay marriage that apparently he has been extended an invitation to go on American TV.  He has declined as he says Parliamentary Rules don't allow it (apparently guests get paid a fee) - well who knew:
1.  That Maurice believes in following rules (obviously this does not apply when dealing with plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers)
2.   That Maurice would be a gay icon
3.   That he was such a comedian

I think Maurice should re-think this.  I would donate money to see him go on the Ellen de Generes show PROVIDING he didn't come back.  He missed his calling he should be on the stage.  In fact he'd make a better comedian than politican - and I don't think he's that funny so make of that what you may.

Two years ago he was apparently telling racist jokes....... just before calling NZer's racist......

You got to love his consistency......Surely he wouldn't make a show of himself on a popular subject..... just to divert from his telling of untruths and being caught out by his Pizza Hut comment....

Do you find either of MP Maurice Williamson's jokes, centred around Pacific Islanders and Muslims, racist?

The MP, while presenting two awards at a ceremony hosted by the New Zealand Institute of Building, Mr Williamson reportedly asked MC Oscar Kightley - a Samoan – if his "papers were in order". He then asked "What is the difference between Muslims and Kiwis? Muslims get to commit adultery and get stoned, Kiwis get stoned and commit adultery."

A joke about the weather then followed; that it's "Shi'ite in the morning and Sunni in the afternoon."

Do you find any of the MP's comments either racist or offensive?
