2011 Elections
« on: November 21, 2011, 10:26:29 AM »
Election day is fast approaching - who do you think cares the most about our industry and where we are headed.  Which party is likely to listen to our concerns and reduce the compliance costs and ensure the PGDB adheres to the legislation?  National didn't hold up the RRC recommendation, but then again those Labour members on the RRC didn't do us any real favours.  Would the minor parties care more?  Do they care at all?  Interested in your views.

hi guys/jax, i don`t think that any of the parties know or care of our situation the minister of building at the time is told to sort it if and when questions are asked. The politicians will just tow the party line, until the water stops flowing/the gas runs out and sewage stops flowing away they would`nt know what the problem was. If only these services would stop at the Beehive we may have a foot in the door, cheers

The poll missed out "none of the above".  I feel this isn't really about the issues it's more about the people in the positions of authority don't like having people stand up to them.

It's happening all over the World now where people have had enough of bully tactics and why should New Zealand be any different. We follow the rest of the world economically and with nearly everythin g we do so why shouldn't the people of New Zealand get angry the same as the rest of the world.

I'll hit the streets if I have to to fight for my rights but only after all legal avenues expire.

How about next election we start our own NZ based party and make it "About New Zealand"

I'm sure the people of NZ are ready for change.
