Hi LMC, Are you talking about the chain operated earthenware (clay-pipe) cutter?
Please note that the advice I am giving is only my opinion and not necessarily a fact.  Please refer to our terms and conditions.

Damn, I was looking at one just a few weeks ago at a garage sale thinking I have not used one of these in ages! Sorry Bud, will keep an eye out though and let you know if I come across another one.

Hi there was a ridgid  clay cutter on trade me for around $ 800 a couple of weeks ago worth checking expired listings.

I use one that was originally designed for cutting cast iron pipe works  great on clay but hard to get into tight places as its  about 4 feet long. dont rotate to cut just set the chain untill tight on the pipe and squeeze a bit tighter and ' ping' your done, got to be careful as the edges are as sharp as broken glass!

the cheap dry cutting diamond blades they sell at mitre 10 on a angle grinder work well just need a R.C.D and no guard on the grinder.

Might be worth searching for cast iron pipe cutter.

Sorry but not on your nellie,  i hunted for a while before mine turned up .
Keep looking, you will find one somewhere or you could see if you can hire one, perhaps worth asking around at the merchants mite catch a plumber who has one.
Best of luck.
