My client is a small to medium sized business with an established reputation for being multi –disciplined within the drainage industry. We seek a fully competent ‘Senior N.Z Certified Drain layer’ that’s looking to be involved in a hands on position working at a senior level on interesting projects in and around Christchurch. Support will be provided from a dedicated Project Manager who will provide you with planning plus an experienced labour team for assistance. Along with our staff support you will have extensive use of our company machinery for ease of site work and project completion. We are looking for several well- honed industry professionals, with proven reputation and broad knowledge that want a stable career.
Desired person will have:
• Strong problem solving ability and experience on new build, maintenance on domestic, commercial & civil projects.
• Competent with following instructions and working from plan.
• Proven drainage competency & current board registration requirement: ‘N.Z Certified Drain layer.
• Focus on ensuring safe work practices.
• Versatile in your skill set and adaptable in your mind-set will allow for the best person fit within this organisation.
• Site safe.
• You must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing.
• A current New Zealand driver’s licence, WTR and class 2 would be advantageous.
• No criminal convictions.
The successful applicant will be someone that’s looking for an interesting and varied role within a solid company that’s progressive in all areas of its business.
They are willing to pay $30-$32 per hour to match your demonstrated knowledge but we want an honest reciprocal work relationship. You will be provided with a well maintained company Vehicle to take home, plus mob phone. Other benefits available are to be discussed at interview.
